What is the FreePass card?

The FreePass card allows you to use the ski lifts year-round. Available for €2, it is rechargeable and reusable from one year to the next.

Where can I find my FREEPASS card number?

You will find your Freepass card number printed in a 14-digit format ( xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx), preceded by the word "WEB," on your pass.

Please note that the Crest-Voland Cohennoz ski area only accepts this type of ski pass.

How are my ski outings charged on my Crestvo'Pass ski pass?

You will be charged regularly for the days you ski. If you didn't ski during this period, you don't have to pay anything!

What are the ski lift hours?

General Hours: From 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day before the February break. And from 9:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. during and after the break.

What is the difference between Crest-Voland Cohennoz and the Espace Diamant?

The Espace Diamant is a ski area that connects five ski villages: Crest-Voland Cohennoz, Les Saisies, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Flumet, and Praz-sur-Arly.

Where can I buy a ski pass?

We recommend that you purchase your ski pass directly online or at the ticket counters of the Crest-Voland ski area’s ski lifts.

Are the packages refundable?

No, ski passes are non-refundable.

Can I reload an existing card?

Yes, with an ALFI card, if you still have your ski pass from last year, you can use it again. All you have to do is recharge it at the ticket counter, at our self-service kiosks, or directly online.

How can I find out what the trail conditions are like today?

You can visit our "Resort Status" page to find out how many trails are open and check the weather conditions. You can also download the Espace Diamant app, which we highly recommend for accessing all resort information in real time.

Where can I go sledding?

Enjoy two free, safe sledding areas in Crest-Voland Cohennoz: at the Logère base area and at the Prarian base area in Cernix.

Where are the beginner areas?

The beginner areas are located at Cernix, to the left of the Prarian ski lift, near the restaurant Le P’tit Mazot.

On the Logère snow front, the Petits Champions ski lift is also accessible to beginners. It allows you to learn to ski at your own pace and enjoy the Grange and Petits Champions runs.

Is parking free?

Yes, all parking lots in the resort are free.

Can we take the shuttle?

Yes, free shuttles run to Crest-Voland from Albertville and Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe.

They drop you off right at the central ticket office, near the gondola.

You can also check the shuttle schedules and real-time arrivals on the Zen Bus app or via the Espace Diamant app.

What are the rules for ski touring?

Ski touring is permitted in Crest-Voland, provided that the ski area regulations are followed. At the end of the day, ski touring is prohibited while snow groomers are in operation, for safety reasons.

How many trails and ski lifts are there?

The Crest-Voland Cohennoz ski resort has 13 ski lifts and approximately 40 km of slopes.

Plus 200 km of slopes as part of the Espace Diamant.

Which ski areas are accessible from Crest-Voland Cohennoz?

From Crest-Voland Cohennoz, ski to Les Saisies by taking the Bâches chairlift, followed by the Covetan chairlift. Once in Les Saisies, you can continue your journey and access the other connected resorts in the Espace Diamant ski area.

Shuttle buses are also available to take you easily to Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe.

What is the Diamond Zone?

The Espace Diamant is a vast ski area connecting five resorts in the Alps: Crest-Voland Cohennoz, Les Saises, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Flumet, and Praz-sur-Arly, offering more than 200 km of slopes between Savoie and Haute-Savoie.

How long does it take to ski around the Espace Diamant?

It depends on your skiing ability, but if you’re an experienced skier, you can definitely explore the entire Espace Diamant in a single day.

Beginners can also enjoy the ski area at their own pace, sticking to the slopes suited to their skill level.

Is Espace Diamant suitable for families and beginners?

Yes, of course! L’Espace Diamant offers slopes suitable for all skill levels, with fun zones, a snowpark, and a boardercross course for experienced skiers, as well as areas specially designed for beginners.

Are dogs allowed on the gondola in the winter?

No, unfortunately, animals are not allowed on the gondola for safety reasons.

Is the Logère gondola accessible to pedestrians?

Yes, absolutely! Whether it’s summer or winter, take one or more gondola rides to reach the summit of Mont Lachat and explore the activities on offer as well as the restaurants.

What can you do when you get off the gondola at Lachat?

At the top station of the Lachat gondola, enjoy a snowshoe trail, restaurants within walking distance, the Crestvo'Luge, and a picnic area with a view of Mont Blanc at the summit.

To modernize the ski area, improve comfort and ease of access, and redesign the base area to better welcome and assist beginner skiers.

What should I do if I've lost my ski pass?

If you lose your ski pass in Crest-Voland, you must go immediately to the resort’s ski lift ticket office with your proof of purchase and your pass number to request a replacement for a fee.

You can also pick up a free copy at the ticket counters in the form of a “Trail Map” brochure or view it on the Espace Diamant mobile app, which provides real-time information on trail conditions.

What level of skiing skill do you need to enjoy the snowpark?

The snowpark is open to all skill levels, with features suited to everyone: green and blue moguls for beginners, and red and black features for more experienced skiers. For your safety, be sure to assess your skiing ability carefully before tackling a feature.

Can you buy your pass in advance?

Yes, you can book it online, a few days or hours in advance!

How do I redeem my plan that I purchased online?

If you already have a physical ski pass, enter the number printed on your card: your new pass will be loaded directly onto it.

If you don’t have one, you can choose to have your pass mailed to you a few days before your trip or pick it up on-site.

How does I top up my plan?

You can easily recharge your Crest-Voland Cohennoz ski pass directly online using the number on your Espace Diamant hands-free card.

To do so, visit our official website, select your pass, and enter the number printed on your card when making your purchase. Your pass will then be automatically loaded onto your card and activated as soon as you pass through the ski lift turnstiles.

At what age should a child have a ski pass?

Children ages 5 and up must pay for a ski pass!

Are there family packages available?

Espace Diamant Group Package: 10% off each lift pass for groups of 4 or more when purchasing 6 or more days at once.

Weekend Package: 10% off the 1-day pass (Saturday or Sunday) for groups of 4 or more

Can I lend or give my plan to someone else?

No, lending out ski passes is strictly prohibited!

Can I use my plan right after purchasing it online?

Yes, you can use your lift pass immediately after purchasing it online in Crest-Voland Cohennoz, provided you top up an existing contactless card. Your lift pass activates automatically the first time you pass through a ski lift gate.

Does the ski package include insurance?

You can purchase Carré Neige insurance directly from the Crest-Voland Cohennoz ski lifts or the ESF Crest-Voland when you buy your ski pass or ski lessons.

Is there a Family Season Pass Package?

Yes, you can choose the Tribu Season Pass Package, which gives you a €100 discount on your season pass for groups of 4 or more people. This offer can also be combined with the Super Promo offers.

How do I get to the cross-country ski trails?

You can take the Logère gondola, then walk to the first trail in just 5 minutes.

You can also park for free at the Croix des Ayes parking lot, located just 5 minutes from the center of the village of Crest-Voland.

What are the difficulty levels of the cross-country ski trails?

The Crest-Voland Cohennoz cross-country ski area, connected to the Les Saisies ski area, offers 13 to 17 cross-country trails suitable for all skill levels: 6 green trails (very easy), 7 blue trails (easy), 2 red (difficult), and 2 black (very difficult).

For beginners, a free loop is also available on the Crest-Voland Cohennoz side, ideal for learning to cross-country ski at your own pace.

Crestvo'Luge Safety Rules

To enjoy the toboggan run safely:

  • Wearing a helmet is mandatory.
  • Use only sleds equipped with metal brakes.
  • Ski boots are prohibited.
  • Sledding is prohibited for skiers and may only be done on the designated sledding run. It is prohibited to use other ski runs.
  • The run must not be used when it is closed.
  • Children under 5 years of age are not permitted, even when accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under 10 years of age or shorter than 1.25 m may ride on a sled with an adult.
  • A child riding alone on a sled must be over 10 years old and taller than 1.25 m, and must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Sledding is permitted only in a seated position: it is prohibited to sled while standing or lying on your stomach with your head forward.
  • Do not tie or connect sleds together.
  • Adjust your speed to the conditions; slow down at intersections and brake before turns and areas with limited visibility.

How does the Crestvo'Pass work?

1. Sign up online

Create an account or log in to your existing account, then sign up for your CrestVoPass membership.

2. I receive my card

The card is issued after you sign up. During the winter season, please allow at least 24 hours for it to be produced.

3. I go skiing

Once you have your card, there’s no need to go to the ticket counter: head straight to the ski lifts and enjoy your day on the slopes.
